A long lunch of vegetables, truffles and all things limestone. Join the Gatherings team as they play host to Theo Coles and the Canterbury Truffle Festival to bring you a long lunch of the season and regions finest vegetables paired with truffles and wines grown on limestone.
Traditionally truffles and red wines are said to pair with rich meat dishes, come watch and taste as chef Alex Davies and the Gatherings team prepares vegetables in the most unusual of ways, bringing out umami and robustness through plants, pairing perfectly with truffles and rich textured wines. Theo Coles aka The Hermit Ram (Canterbury wine maker and friend of Alex) will join the intimate Gathering and present 5 wines that have been made from grapes grown on limestone to compliment each course.
Join us on the 23rd of July for this one-off unique experience – meet the chefs, the truffle growers and the wine maker in a long plan-focused limestone-inspired Sunday lunch.
$120 – 15 tickets only: contact email@example.com or 02102935641 for reservations.
