Black Estate truffle lunch and hunt – July 21st (sold out)

Join Pen and Nicholas for a 5 course lunch with matching aged wines at Black Estate Vineyard. Start the day with a tour of Kings Truffles truffiere in Waipara Gorge, and then dine at Black Estate all afternoon with truffles, aged wines and good company. As with previous years we can arrange a bus for guests from Christchurch. A genuinely heartwarming afternoon!

Truffle hunt with Kings Truffles’ proprietor Jax Lee and her dog Freddy + five course truffle lunch and matching aged Black Estate wines, including return bus from Christchurch. $200.

Five course lunch with matching aged Black Estate wines only (you arrange your own transport) – $165.

The bus leaves Christchurch at 9.30am and returns by 5pm at the latest. Lunch is at 1pm.

Festival opener: Truffle hunt & lunch at Pegasus Bay – July 14th

On Friday 14th July for the 3rd year in a row Pegasus Bay is celebrating its love for local truffles by pairing up with Gareth Renowden and Rosie (the cute and famous truffle huntress) from Limestone Hills to offer you a day out in North Canterbury.

There are very limited spaces for a full day of truffle goodness in North Canterbury, including return bus from Christchurch, morning tea on arrival at Limestone Hills, an educating and exciting truffle hunt with Gareth and Rosie, 5 course truffle lunch with aged library wines at Pegasus Bay Winery and bus home to Christchurch.

$200 (Bus will leave Christchurch 9.30am and returns  approx 5pm to Christchurch.)
